Advances in materials science and digital technologies have revolutionized the field of ceramic-based restorative and implant dentistry. In order to fully understand this rapidly changing landscape, the editors of this text have assembled the talents of the various stakeholders in this field. The contributing authors are uniquely qualified as leaders in their areas of expertise, and most chapters are co-written by two experts with different backgrounds and hence differing perspectives.
